The Worldwide Initiative for Diabetes Education (Worldwide Diabetes) is represented by some of the top leaders in diabetes today with a global faculty network of more than 65 leading world experts in diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Our global faculty serves as educators for ongoing educational initiatives throughout the world, with a strong emphasis on the developing world. We have developed many types of programs, from live and web-based symposia, to regional programs, consensus conferences, preceptorships, summits, train-the-trainer platforms, and enduring materials.
In our quest to enhance and shape the future management of diabetes, Worldwide Diabetes provides customized clinical training programs based on unbiased, credible, and evidence-based medicine in native languages. Our global understanding of regional differences throughout the world coupled with our partnerships with leading global organizations allows us to provide expert clinical training to those healthcare professionals who need it the most. We boast an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the management of diabetes care as well as faculty and staff prepared to execute programs on every continent, in multiple languages.
